Welcome
Citrus blood populates the conch shell, waving hi; equally in plane sight is a beautiful conjecture.
Chaos, chance, randomness... I often question whether this concept is real, imaginary, everchanging, or (potentially provably) unknown. We unfortunately hate the unknown, so much so that we'll lie to escape—the unknown, that is, not the truth nor a nontrivial subset of it.
Naturally, we box, assign, and sort, especially with these infinitely-edged ambiguous pointers we call words. Your thoughts now have labels and scalars, and subsequently you do too. But even the supposed simplest of distinctions, true & false, is sometimes impossible to apply in reality: right vs. wrong, left from right, 0 to 1. Why? It's a "concept" for a reason—though real to us, created in our imagination. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying these categorizations don't exist, though I'll obstinately proceed.
An example of, not a blur but a reduction of thought, is Collatz Conjecture[0]. Many have exchanged lifetimes in attempts to prove it true or find a counterexample, but hopefully a few stopped to consider that maybe we've stumbled upon undeniable evidence that there is always a broader lens, a set we are subgroup to, a k+1th dimension (whatever k is). The statement would be neither true nor false nor paradoxical; the question would be unanswerable: an open subcover we cannot comprehend indefinitely. I raise this to all conjectures deemed equal or greater difficulty by an oracle.
There exists no exigence, in fact most competent mathematicians will urge you not to explore the conjecture, as it is utilitarily a time tarpit. Note that this warning sounds about the same as every piece of life advice ever: "don't do [x], it's addicting and will reduce your [t]" where t is expected job, status, lifespan, understanding, or related concept. The warnings are with good intention—to help conserve your future liberty—, the risk being your inductively increasing contentness with adhering to instruction. As they say, "pick and choose your battles" to minimize the long-term risk & maximize the happiness conjugacy classes.
Returning to the root, every written thought I just provided is not new. I hope I don't come across as trying to preach; just like anyone, I want to keep record of my raw thoughts. This is my tree, where I will grow various branches to communicate my path as I sail to find or create something "new"[1] in a world of unknown.
[0] Collatz Conjecture, infamous as "oh! the 3n + 1 one", is one of the oldest unsolved problems in mathematics: take a positive integer, if odd, multiply by 3 & add 1, else, divide by 2. Collatz claims by recursively applying this process, every sequence eventually reaches 1. Example sequence: 19, 58, 29, 88, 44, 22, 11, 34, 17, 52, 26, 13, 40, 20, 10, 5, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1...
[1] "New" I define as a seed to enable further exploration (node that is very "disconnected" from the current human knowledge graph but very connected to future knowledge).
